Anakin's Podracer was built straight from the box.  I obtained this kit one week before they were available for sale.  The intent was to have it built and in the display case on opening day of the movie, thus the straight-from-the-box construction as "advertising" for the shop owner who provided the kit.  Shortly afterward, the shop's modeling contest featured a category for kitbashing this into your own podracer.
